Ok, so I'm a big slacker when it comes to blogging. I just get so busy doing other stuff, but I will try to be better. But I do have stuff to say. We celebrated Ryan's 10th birthday on the 18th. We invited my brother Anthony's family, Ryan's friend Michael & my mom. We went the the Scarecrow festival in Lehi. When we got there we had Ryan open his presents, since it would be dark afterwards. He got some nerf guns & darts & the game Phase 10 from Mom & Dad. He got a slinky from Michael. A magazine & tie from Grandma & a hoody sweatshirt from Anthony's family. The Scarecrow festival was awesome. They had a pumpkin patch, a haunted house, tons of those air slides & toys. They had a bunji jump & a rock wall also. There was a toddler land so I took Adam in there & he had a ton of fun playing with all the toys, he also got to go on a little train ride. There was something for everyone, it was great. Ryan told me had a ton of fun. After we left we went out to the van & had hot cocoa & cupcakes, it was awesome! I have some pictures, but my camera batteries died so there aren't very many.
Next thing, Jason decided to run in the 5K (3.2 miles)marathon at his school. There were about 100 kids that participated, it was a last minute decision to do it so he didn't train for it like some of his friends did, so I wasn't sure how he would do. But he came in 30 something which I thought was pretty good. My friend took pictures of everyone, so I will get them from her & put them on here.
Next thing, last night we got pumpkins & carved them, they turned out awesome, Jason is getting almost as good as Tad is at it. It' s been a tradition every year since we've been married we do one pumpkin for each person, I can't believe it's up to six now.
I can't believe it's Halloween already, this month just flew by. Dayna wore a wig to school today, she didn't want to wear her costume. Jason's school doesn't allow masks, face paint or hats, so that pretty much ruled out his costume, so he just wore an old prisoner orange jumper suit. Ryan wore his skeleton costume except for the mask. They were so excited this morning. We are going trick or treating with my brother's family & some friends tonight. So it should be a lot of fun.
